Homeland Institute of Innovation Technology (HIIT) is committed to provide a clean environment through through a successful waste management guided by the circular economy system that meet the needs of residents, businesses and cities in Kenya.
This program use a waste reduction and recycling methods to alleviate the stress of open waste disposal by introducing the Landfill technology where the municipal solid waste and sewer is well managed to recover potential reuse by-products to promote economic development for the country.
At the resource recovery center, we will generate green energy from Methane gas from the active landfill and the sewer and sludge treatment plant, creat jobs, establish a Material Recovery Facility to recycle all recyclable materials and promote agriculture by the use of organic fertilizer produced from the sludge.
The diagrams below shows how the entire Waste management is done at the HIIT Resource Recovery Center achieving a circular economy system for the Counties. We will also establish a waste management training program for students and interested parties who want to achieve the circular economy system.
